NetPCDoc says this works better with Internet Explorer than Chrome (the way I did it) and I'll defer to his technical expertise on that question, but it worked, which was pretty much all I cared about anyway. I did purchase a couple of things from the Store a while back, but did the installation through the launcher while I was logged in at the Store with my browser. I think I logged in once when I installed so I could retrieve my Store content and have not been logged in (in-game) since.
